Here's something that is long overdue. Finally we have pins and bushings to rebuild your 1964-1967 & 1968-1972 El Camino tailgate hinges. Start by grinding off the split end of the existing pin.

Next we sand blast, de-burr, and paint the halves.

Then we carefully tap the copper bushing in and follow with the pin. Slide the other half of the hinge over the pin and spread the pin open with a hammer & chisel. And your done!
