The SS gauge package for 66 is almost the same as 67. The difference is that a 67 cluster will have the high beam light in the speedometer. A small rectangle is cut into the left hand side of the speedo and the housing will have provisions for the extra light.

The used gauges we start with are usually pretty rough. Rust on the inside and out is a common ailment. We start by completely disassembling the gauge package and sandblasting all the hard parts. The old bezel and lens are discarded since reproductions are readily available.

After the gauges have been rebuilt and refaced, and all metal parts refinished, the cluster is ready for final assembly. When using the reproduction speedometer bezel, sometimes, small amounts of material need to be removed from the sides of the bezel in order for the metal fascia to fit properly.

After assembly the cluster looks like it was new from GM. This unit is ready to ship and will be pounding the streets in a mean 66 real soon.
